Internationalisation Trip to Guangzhou China
Day 1: We kicked off our Guangzhou journey at the Guangdong Museum exploring the city’s rich history and cultural heritage.
A highlight was the lifelike jade-carved chicken, symbolising prosperity and the Cantonese saying, “No Feast Without Chicken.”
A meaningful and memorable start to our adventure!
Day 2: A day packed with learning, culture and fun! We visited Huangpu Experimental School Affiliated with Hunan Normal University, experienced student life in China, and explored their robotics programme from robot combat to brainwave-controlled cars
We also made our own dim sum, visited the Five Rams Statue and Chen Clan Academy, and ended the day at bustling Beijing Road Pedestrian Street
Day 3: We became farmers for a day at the rooftop edible garden, harvesting green beans, guavas, cucumbers and more! In our cultural lesson, we tasted lychees and turned their seeds into spinning top races, plus some Cantonese singing
We explored the Guangdong Science Centre before ending with the spectacular Guangdong Eternal Love show with stunning effects, animations, and horses charging into the theatre!
Day 4: We said our goodbyes to our tour guides and wrapped up our Guangzhou trip. Grateful for the opportunity to learn, explore, and grow a journey filled with laughter and memories that will stay with us
