Internationalisation Trip to Guangzhou
Day 1: Upon arrival in Guangzhou, students explored the Guangdong Museum, where they were immersed in the region’s rich history and culture. The day ended with a lively visit to Huacheng Square, offering a glimpse of modern-day Guangzhou.
Day 2: Students attended school immersion activities at Huangpu Experimental School Affiliated with Hunan Normal University. They participated in welcome ceremonies and classroom lessons with their Chinese buddies. We also went to the Guangdong Science Center and enjoyed a cultural showcase at Lingnan Impression Park. The day concluded with a scenic Pearl River Night Cruise under the city lights.
Day 3: Students visited Huatingfang, a historic village of over 900 years, which blends traditional Lingnan architecture with modern cultural elements. Back at school, students took part in lion and dragon dance sessions, Chinese cultural workshops, and interactive student activities. We also visited the Foshan Zumiao Museum and ended the day with a hands-on lion head making activity at the Ancient Nanfeng Kiln.
Day 4: The trip concluded with a visit to Huangpu Old Port and Village, offering students insights into the city’s maritime and trading history. It was a meaningful end to a fruitful learning journey in Guangzhou.
